The Viking
Ingredients
- 45 ml (1.5oz) Ólafsson Gin
- 25 ml (3/4oz) Fresh lemon juice
- 25 ml (3/4oz) Orange syrup
- Snorri beer (an Icelandic ale made by Borg Brugghús; can be substituted with your favorite ale)
- Arctic thyme
- Orange peel
Method
Shake all ingredients except the beer with ice, double strain into a beer glass, and top it with Snorri beer. Garnish with an orange peel and a sprig of arctic thyme.
Orange Syrup: Put equal parts water and sugar in a pot and boil for a few minutes. Add natural orange flavor and let cool down.
